CURRENT FILM ROSTER
PROOF OF CONCEPT - PRE PRODUCTION
At the turn of the 20th Century, two women vie for control of their social club, each trying to mold the group, and her opposite, to her will. Their confidence is shaken as they come to realize that not everything in their world is as black and white as it seems. As their movement grows beyond their control, each starts losing her grip on her personal dogma, questioning whether they are so different after all, and if everything they are risking in pursuit of their goal is worth the cost of attaining it.
“The Iris” is a short proof of concept film which will be used to pitch a full mini series.
“The work is its own reward”, Arthur Conan Doyle once said. For Sasha, the pursuit of the story, the script, production cycle, finishing the film and seeing an audience reaction, are the reward of a career in film. Every step is its own challenge that brings with it the opportunity to discover the look and feel of each unique story. His ultimate goals are to bring to life high-fantasy features, science fiction, and historical epics. After spending a year and a half in Los Angeles learning the craft from the best teacher available, the professional film set, he came back to PA to found Gravitywell Films.

SHORT FILM - PRODUCTION
“In this version of the anointing of Jesus' feet by Mary of Bethany, we dive deeper emotionally and visually into the heart of Mary of Bethany, the sister of Martha and Lazarus; and her love and desire to surrender to Jesus according to the New Testament Gospels. Mary does the unexpected and sacrifices the rarest and most expensive perfume in the world by pouring it over Jesus to express her desire and love for him. As she does this, she is met with ridicule from a few of the observers. Get inspired and discover what it means to be brave and stand on your faith and convictions even when others are against you.”

ABOUT GW FILM COLLECTIVE
Founded in Central Pennsylvania, the Collective aims to help filmmakers get their project across the finish line by connecting them to additional sources of funding through nonprofit sponsorship.
Making movies is extremely difficult and sometimes the difference between a finished film and an unfinished one comes down to one more investor.
Too often, filmmakers are required to make compromises that dilute their creative vision. It is our belief that independent creators should have the means to pursue their passion without sacrificing their personal integrity.
Through a series of criteria, we select qualifying projects to include in our current fundraising round. These projects must have a detailed plan and vision for completion as well as align with the core values of the Collective.
DISCLAIMER: The GW Film Collective does not endorse, nor accept onto its roster, films of a sexual, graphic, shock violence, gory, or anything otherwise deemed by us to be inappropriate, nature.
